After a week of rain in Southern California, Kelsey and Patrick’s wedding day arrived like a reward from the universe. The clouds cleared, the ocean shimmered, and the warm sunshine showed up just in time for their celebration at the Surf & Sand Laguna Beach. Safe to say—Mother Nature understood the assignment. ☀️🌊

Their ceremony took place on the oceanfront deck with the horizon stretching endlessly behind them. Kelsey walked down the aisle looking absolutely stunning, and Patrick’s face said it all the moment he saw her.

One of our favorite parts of the day? This amazing family. We photographed Kelsey’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago, so walking into this celebration felt a little like coming back to a reunion. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around—it made documenting the day feel effortless and full of laughter.

The bridesmaids wore gorgeous shades of green that popped beautifully against the ocean backdrop (and the clear blue skies we were all so grateful for). The bridal party which included Kelsey's two sisters and cousin brought great energy all day long.

As the afternoon faded into evening, the sky delivered one more gift—an absolutely beautiful Laguna Beach sunset. Kelsey and Patrick slipped away for portraits as the sky softened into warm golden tones over the ocean.

And once the sun dipped below the horizon… the dance floor opened and the party really got going.

Kelsey was a college volleyball player, and a big group of her teammates came to celebrate. Let’s just say athletes know how to bring the hype. Between the college friends, family, and the wedding party, the dance floor stayed packed all night long. At one point the celebration reached a whole new level when both Kelsey and Patrick were lifted high in chairs above the crowd while everyone cheered them on—one of those unforgettable, high-energy moments that had the entire room laughing and celebrating together.

As the night wrapped up, everyone gathered outside for one final moment. Kelsey and Patrick made their grand exit through a tunnel of cheering guests waving gold streamers—the perfect sparkly send-off to an incredible day.

Kelsey and Patrick, we loved every minute of celebrating with you both. Your wedding was full of joy, sunshine, and the kind of people who make our job so special. We’re so grateful to have been there to capture it all.
