We had the pleasure of meeting Jewels and Forrest in July at their engagement session in Laguna Beach. Right away we knew this was going to be a special couple and the perfect wedding to close out 2023. The pair are down to earth, funny and super cute with one another! Jewels and Forrest met on Match.com during the Covid pandemic, and they hit it off right away. Their first conversation over the phone lasted eleven hours and then their first date lasted over two days!

If you are looking for a venue with a view, you can not go wrong with VIP Wedding and Events private estate in Laguna Beach. This exclusive venue has a sweeping 180 degree view of the ocean. Paired with a Catholic ceremony at St. Edwards Church you are sure to have your breathe taken away.

We had been looking forward to Kelly and Preston’s wedding since we photographed their engagement photos. This is one of the nicest couples we know. Preston and Kelly fell head over heels quickly after meeting online. Preston is light-hearted, fun and loves Kelly and her daughter unconditionally. Kelly is one of Danielle’s acting students, and quickly become a friend. She has a big heart, she is kind, and sincere.

This wedding was particularly exciting for us because of how many twins were in attendance! Twin power! Sarah’s siblings were all a part of the wedding party. Her twin sister was her matron of honor; her oldest sister was a bridesmaid, as was her other sister whose fraternal twin brother was one of the groomsmen!

What an adorable family Victoria, Robert and their baby girl are. The beautiful couple met ten years ago while working together briefly at Abercrombie and Fitch. They had the sweetest baby girl less than two years ago and finally made it to the alter. The pair married at Rancho de las Palmas in Moore Park, a beautiful oasis with palm trees, a lagoon and cascading waterfalls.

Danielle and I met this fun and loving duo at their friends’ Cat & Ben's Monterey wedding last year. Remembering them from the dance floor, we knew their own wedding would be just as lively—Amber and Colton did not disappoint! The night was filled with a heartfelt ceremony, entertaining speeches, a hilarious garter toss, and tons of dancing!

What a breathe-taking wedding with such an amazing group of fun loving people! Getting to photograph weddings outside of our home state of California is always a privilege. Connecticut has been one of the most beautiful wedding locations we’ve been to in the past, so we were thrilled to return for Megan and Cliff’s big day!

We love photographing beautiful invitations on wedding days! It’s the first thing we shoot when we arrive, and it prepares us for the whole day setting the tone. We pair the couple’s invitation with bridal details--earrings, shoes, and multiple ring shots. It’s a great way for us to tie everything together and keep a consistent look.

Jenna and Kyle picked the perfect setting to say their vows and celebrate the start of life together as husband and wife. The happy couple was married at a rustic, yet modern, private estate in Orange County.

Alyssa and Abraham were married at Reptacular Ranch, a 15 acre ranch nestled in the Angeles National Forest. Not only is the venue beautiful surrounded by trees and majestic mountains, but it also provides a unique setting that wedding guests are sure to remember.

Doris and Mark were married at the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena with five guests in attendance, but many guests watching their momentous event via live stream. Their live stream produced by All Because He Asked Wedding Videography opened up with a beautiful drone shot sweeping into the Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden and revealing their serene wedding venue.

We had such a great time spending the day with Sarah and Adam at their intimate wedding at Duke’s in Malibu! The private space overlooks the ocean and provides the perfect ceremony and reception location for their guest list of under 40 close friends and family.

What a beautiful, fun wedding to kick off the year. We were so happy to see Bri and Liam again, after meeting them a year ago for their engagement session. Like their engagement session they were so warm and welcoming. We loved catching Liam lovingly admire his bride with a simple look.

Wow is all we can say about this couple. Jaslin was a gorgeous bride. She glowed in a fitted lace dress, and Cinderella-esque shoes—her something blue, and a reminder of their proposal location—Disneyland. Matt looked handsome in his taupe suit made complete by his friendly smile.

We had been looking forward to Catherine and Ben’s big day since we met them over zoom. Not only did they seem like a super cool couple, but their wedding was in Monterey, CA, known for its stunning coastal views and marine life—need we say more?

It was worth the wait! Finally a reality, the couple was over-joyed, and brimming with love. Their whole day was filled with emotions and laughs. Hailey and Eric are a beautiful couple, inside and out.

Trisha and Hashmit traveled all the way from the United Kingdom to say their vows in California. They married on the property of a beautiful home perched on the top of a mountain, overlooking Simi Valley. Their wedding was an intimate affair with seven guests including their closest family and friends; each thrilled to be a part of Trisha and Hasmit’s destination wedding.

Deborah and Tim are the sweetest couple. Throughout their day, we spotted them naturally showing signs of affection and thoughtfulness toward one another. When Deborah laughed or had joyous moments she would comfortably rest her head on Tim’s should. It was a small gesture but it was brimming with love we couldn’t help but notice.

We looked forward to this wedding ever since we met Kim and Wes at Wes’ brother’s wedding in 2020—another favorite wedding of ours! Kim and Wes are possibly one of the nicest, most grateful and easy-going couples we have ever had the pleasure to photograph.

Landon officially won Erica over on their fourth date when he brought her a box of her favorite chocolate chip cookies. She had mentioned it on their first date and he remembered! We love a guy who listens to the details! Five years later, they tied the knot at The London Hotel in West Hollywood on a perfect day!

This was an exciting wedding for us! We admit it was our first Buddhist Ceremony; plus, we had been looking forward to photographing Cathy and Antoine’s wedding since meeting them the first time at their Engagement Session in November of last year. They are friendly, funny, and a perfect match.

We spent New Years day with Jenna and Darius at one of our favorite wedding venues—the VIP Palazzo, a private 32,000 sq. ft. mansion in San Clemente. This gorgeous wedding venue provides endless photo ops and evokes the true elegance of a grand European estate with a Southern California flare

Candice and Kyle married only a few days before Christmas. The holidays played a key factor in their color scheme and the wedding day vibe. Candice has an artistic eye and did a fantastic job combining winter and fall colors in her theme. The wedding party wore deep greens, shades of rust, and dark aqua, in fabrics with different textures; they carried bouquets adorned with pine cones and pine leaves.

Melanie and Kevin traveled from Ohio to say their vows at the romantic Coyote Hills Golf Club in Fullerton, California. This was our first time shooting at this golf club and it was everything we had hoped for. Plus, Melanie, Kevin and their families were a joy to be around which made the day a lot of fun for us! Coyote Hills Golf Club is a dream wedding venue, with picturesque backdrops.

Stephanie and Thiago were set up by Stephanie’s sister who met Thiago, and knew right away he would be a perfect match for her sister. We’d say this was a major win in matchmaking!

We are so happy Shelby and Rick found each other, it was easy to feel the excitement and love around them. They both took their time finding love, but we think they got it right! The pair were officially setup by a mutual friend in 2019, but had crossed paths several times before that—it’s amazing how our friends can sometimes see things we don’t.

Danielle and Kurtis share a huge love for everything Disney, it’s one of the many reasons they get along so well! They live in Nevada, but love making the trip out to California to visit the happiest place on earth.

We loved Caroline and Nick right away, they are a charming, friendly couple with a cute love story! Caroline is also a Gamma Phi Beta which was even more exciting for me being a fellow sister! I admit I’ve been out of college for some time, so it was a fun reminder of the bond and good times I had with my sisters.

Having met while living on opposite sides of the United States, Susan and Hemanth didn’t date for long; but they knew it was right! So when Hemanth proposed during the final (and sweetest) course on their date night, Susan joyfully said “Yes”! We can see what Susan sees in Hemanth. He has the happiest demeanor and glows when he is around her. Susan is sweet, friendly and beautiful! We think the two are a perfect pair.

Mackenzie and Gavin’s wedding was special and amusing in many ways to us! We did a double take when we first received their photo/video inquiry; Mackenzie’s mom is also Danielle Hobert (what are the chances!?). Soon Danielle’s husband and our partner/owner of All Because He Asked Wedding Videography realized the bride’s dad is Billy Joe Hobert—a professional football player and sort of a legend in his family.

This wedding was more than just a wedding for us, it was a family vacation and reunion! Hayley and Joe found myself and All Because He Asked Wedding Videography via Jamie’s dad. Jamie’s dad is one of 9 kids in the Hobert family, most of whom live on the east coast; with the family home in Groton Long Point. Jamie has 44 first cousins from his dad’s side. The groom’s mom is Jamie’s first cousin.

We love this couple! Gary and Colleen have the best spirits. They are so happy and easy-going. We first met Colleen and Gary in 2019 when we shot their engagement session at El Dorado Park in Long Beach.

Anna’s brother-in-law Jake went to UCLA with Danielle’s husband Jamie (All Because HeAsked Wedding Videography). A few years ago, we all shot his wedding to Brooke.Their wedding was a blast, so we were excited when Brooke recommended us to her sister Anna. Anna and Michael are incredibly kind people and very comfortable in front of the camera!

Love this couple! Leanna and Keith’s love story started years ago. Timing wasn’t always right but they made it back to each other time and again. In 2020 Keith said that was it, he knew he was going to marry Leanna and the pair came together this time for forever! They are truly a joy to be around and their family dynamic is amazing.

Rafael is super outgoing and makes everyone smile; and Sheyln's heart is clearly large and full of love. Stepping into the ladies getting ready room at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort inHuntington Beach we could feel the excitement of the day. The girls set the atmosphere with decorative flowers pinned to the wall and balloons ready for photos! We love getting the photos of the girls popping champagne while getting ready.

We got to know Nickee and David during their engagement session with us a few months prior, it was a pleasure catching up with them on their wedding day. The pair met on OK cupid, and while the relationship didn't take off right away, timing finally worked out for them. After a date ending in a gentlemanly kiss and an impromptu Thanksgiving dinner invite the two became an inseparable couple.

2020 was a tough year for most everyone and Michelle was no exception; but, the events that turned her life upside down ended up being the steps that led her to the love of her life. After loosing her job and feeling down Michelle joined a bible study group. It's here where she met Bryan. Being in a group where they shared their stories and emotions openly, they got to know each other quickly. It didn't take much time before they fell in love.

Laura and Ryan were so excited to marry. They are so in love and such a happy couple. The pair met when they matched on Coffee Meets Bagel. Laura was in medical school and Ryan was in law school in Minnesota so they met up for coffee/tea. They chatted for 3 hours and 45 minutes and then continued to talk and text every day after.

We were happy to back at the VIP Mansion a private estate in San Clemente for our first full wedding of 2021. We kicked off what looks like it will be a busy year with an easy-going, happy couple, Brittany and Kyle! The pair met on the dating app Hinge by pure chance. Kyle was living in Washington and happened to be passing by Brittany when she appeared on his feed. The two matched easily and hit it off quickly!

Like many couples fighting Covid restrictions Sara and Dean had to remain flexible leading up to their big wedding day. The pair were so friendly and joyous to be around despite the hoops thrown at them including a rare rainy California day.

We met Cheryl and Jonathan last year when we shot their engagement photos. They are such a lovely couple we knew their wedding day would be super special! They opted for an intimate ceremony and ended up after a last minute change at the Lavender Marketplace in Sierra Madre. The venue is a beautiful, peaceful property with endless photo backdrops.

Julie and Micah spent the first day of the new year in one of the best ways possible—saying "I do". They were married in front of their closest family and friends with the bright blue ocean sparking behind them at Seagrove Park. The park was bustling with people enjoying the weather and the serene view. The busy park just added to the excitement and joy of the day that had come together so perfectly.

I was happy to get Katies call to shoot her religious wedding ceremony. I have known Katie for several years now and she is a delight to be around. She is full of personality and adorable! Her and Brandon make an amazing couple and have tons of fun together!

Amanda and Thomas crossed paths for the first time by colliding into one another on the street. As they both steadied themselves from almost falling, Thomas made a silly remark comparing himself to the Titanic. Amanda's contagious laugh caught him off gaurd and he fell in love immediately. They spoke for a few minutes, then turned to be on their own ways. Thomas knew it was now or never, so with amazing courage he turned back around and asked the beautiful stranger on a date. The rest is history!

We ended the year with a very special wedding, one that we were so excited to be a part of! Jaime and Drew are down to earth and very well paired. They make each other smile and we can tell their relationship is full of laughter! Jaime is the sister to Danielle’s old boss back when she was a Bartender. When Jaime reached out to us, we were excited! Danielle had a little nostalgia and couldn’t wait to be part of the wedding for such a wonderful family.

One of the last weddings we shot this year was Mary Grace and Andy. They were such a chill couple whose main goal for their wedding day was to have a good time with their guests and enjoy the party they worked so hard to plan. It’s so easy to get stressed planning a wedding, so being able to let go and just go with it on the actual day is so important!

Jen and Bill met by chance. When going to college in Nebraska, Jen visited her sister in San Diego. She ended up hanging out with Bill’s roommate who lived in the same complex as her sister. When Bill came home to find Jen in his apartment and drinking his Jack Daniels, the sparks flew! They hit it off immediately. While the timing wasn’t right to start a relationship they stayed in touch until it was. Now eleven years friends and four years together they finally got to say “I do”.

Jacqueline and Walker’s wedding had us smiling all-day and evening. This couple doesn’t take themselves too seriously and it’s obvious they truly love being with each other. They met at summer camp when they were camp counselors and they have been together for 10 years now! We know, it sounds like the perfect start to an amazing romantic comedy right?!

Cathy and Adam met in middle school and became boyfriend/girlfriend their freshman year of high School. They have been together for 13 years and finally tied the knot—YEAH! It was clear their parents are both super excited and thrilled they finally made it down the aisle—they were all smiles and already dropping hints for grand kids! Having married my high school sweetheart as well I particularly love weddings like this. Plus my husband was their wedding videographer, which made the event even more special.

Has your mom ever tried to set you up? Ours has…lots…unsuccessfully—stories for another time! Well Brooke and Jakeb are the happy ending to the perfect Mother setup! Jakeb’s mom met Brooke at an event, and thought she would be a great fit for her son, so she orchestrated a coffee date. Brooke and Jakeb hit it off immediately! Their morning coffee meeting turned into an 11-hour date including breakfast, lunch and dinner! The rest is history. Yeah Mom!!!

Kate loves twins, and we are so glad she found us! At an early age she made plans to marry a man and have twins! Okay so both Danielle and I made plans to have twins too and it didn’t work out for us, but fingers crossed she and Logan will have better luck—we have a good feeling about this one!Kate and Logan could have been married at numerous locations in their home state of Alaska. We’re sure the scenery is gorgeous—we’re dying to go! But we couldn’t be happier that they chose to celebrate their big day at Lake Oak Meadows Temecula.

We felt so honored to witness and capture Suzette and Clint’s private ceremony held exactly five years to the day that they started dating. Following their nuptials, and of course lots of Mr. and Mrs. photos, they celebrated by having dinner at the same restaurant they met at for their first date—very romantic!

For Laurel and Will’s wedding I had the honor of being their Day of Wedding Coordinator, while Danielle was their Wedding Photographer. Laurel did such an amazing job planning their wedding all while busy with work and school in Boston. They were married at one of my favorite locations—The Malibu West Beach Club.

Oh boy are we excited to share the wedding photos from Kellen and Chris’ wedding at the beautiful Coto De Caza Country Club. Not only are Kellen and Chris one of the cutest, perfectly matched couples we’ve shot, but also they chose to celebrate their vows at one of our favorite venues. With natural light pouring in from the windows the Coto De Caza Country Club is intimate and cozy. Our favorite part is the cute white tree swing in the front that is perfect for portraits.

Kate and Daniel’s wedding was special to me right from the beginning. Not only did we hit it off during our first conversation, but instead of a formal engagement session they invited me to shoot their photos at their engagement party. This ended up being a great way for me and the whole family to get to know each other. Come their wedding date everything was so comfortable and inviting—I felt like a part of the family! They also have a lot of twins in their family which made for some fun conversations with Deanne and I.

The first time David saw Taylor he knew he had to find a way to meet her; so he convinced a friend to setup a meeting on the pre-tense that he wanted to learn more about the acting business, and get her advice. Taylor who is so kind agreed to the meeting with the stranger. Immediately she felt something very special with David and quickly found he matched her childhood husband wish list almost perfectly!

It’s hard to believe this was the last wedding of 2018 for us. The year went by so fast. We were happy to have our last memory of the year with Sara and Jay at The Legacy Ballroom in Glendale. What a sweet couple, and boy do they know how to dance!

We had the honor of shooting Lillian and Jonathan’s wedding at the beautiful Private Estate in Orange County. VIP Events and Weddings did a great job coordinating the event and made everything look perfect. Danielle and I decided we could happily live there!

Susanne and Ben’s wedding was my first at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. The venue offers skyline views of all of Los Angeles, which made for an awesome backdrop at their reception. Some of my favorite shots came from just outside the hotel, when we braved our way across the street into the busy intersection.
