Summer in Santa Monica is always bustling with tourists, but that didn’t stop us from getting amazing photos. The weather was beautiful and I had a great time shooting Sara and Jay! Sara has a gorgeous smile and is extremely photogenic; and Jay is so in love with her that it was easy to capture many sweet moments between them.  Santa Monica Pier was a perfect choice for their engagement session.  It’s always wonderful to find a location that really shows off a couples personalities and the special relationship they share.  The pier offers lots of bright, playful backgrounds and we had a lot of fun with it.  As a bonus Sara and Jay even got their fortunes read by Zoltar—famous from the movie “Big” with Tom Hanks.  If I have any insight into the future, I’d say they have many years of happiness ahead of them.

Sara and Jay’s hobby is swing dancing, and they showed off their moves throughout the photo session. I was able to capture lots of action shots as Sarah twirled around the pier. They have so much fun dancing together, it made me want to run home and sign my husband and I up for classes. While my husband and I think we can swing dance, we have nothing on them. I can’t wait to see their first dance. I am looking forward to their wedding day in December at LA Banquets- Legacy Ballroom and Lounge.  Congratulations!
